Mental illness isn’t funny, but living with one sure can be.
…At least that’s my motto. I’m the proud owner of OCD, PTSD, a sexual abuse survivor and an anorexia survivor—essentially, I’m a neurotic (but really fun!) mess.
Throughout my recovery, I discovered that comedy and humor were my greatest allies. I truly believe that laughter can unite people, even in the darkest moments, reminding us that we’re not alone. This conviction forms the basis of my life's work.
Every creative project I undertake revolves around mental health awareness. Whether I’m storytelling through my web series Margot and Woolly, writing poetry, performing my comedic variety show Ladylike, hosting my podcast Therapy Would Be Cheaper, or engaging in public speaking, I strive to uplift others through my vulnerability, authenticity, and, most importantly, my sense of humor.
Having spent over a decade in the entertainment industry, I feel most at home on stage, connecting with others. By sharing my story and addressing topics that often remain in the shadows, I aim to break the stigma around mental health. I want anyone listening to feel like they have a friend who truly understands what they’re going through—a friend cheering them on and reminding them that no matter where they are on their mental health journey, they are never alone.
